New stash!

Hello lovely peeps,
Tonight I have 3 cards to share with you. All in different styles but they all have 1 thing in common...... They all use the wonderful new papers and ephemera designed and made by the lovely Linda  Simpson. Who has set up Emerald city crafts. They are so nice and come in 2 styles in A4 packs, 6x6 packs and the ephemera. You can get them on her Etsy store.
Here's my makes.

I really enjoyed having a play with them. They are awesome. Hoping to get in the craft room tomorrow seems like I have not had much time lately lol.
Hope you are all well, it's very cold at the moment brrrrrr. The lovely Heather Won my crafty giveaway, well done.

Take care
Big hugs & thanks so much for stopping by xxxxx

Happy new year....

Happy new year to all the lovely people in blog land may it be a wonderful one for all of you. We had a quiet night in which is just how I like it. Nice to relax.
Hopefully 2017 will be a good crafting year and I'm starting the year with a giveaway. More on this at the end of the post.
Right I managed to spend a few hours crafting on Friday so was really chuffed trying to get back my missing mojo. Still not found it but I'm trying !
I saw this idea on Pinterest...

I thought it was a lovely idea. However I decided to take it one step further and do an album with a page each month of all the good things that have happened. I'm going to use a little wooden box to still keep track but will empty it each month and turn it into a page with photos & notes etc. Now the box has been painted but need to decorate it.
I had the perfect g45 album begging to be used from the lovely Darren at Jones crafts. So I decorated it with g45 Cafe Parisian papers.

The album is perfect as it already comes with lots of different style pages ready to decorate. I'm going to decorate the box tomorrow.
Hope you like it. I must say I was pleased with how it turned out.
Thank you so much for your continued support over the last 12 months. I would like to say thanks to Jones crafts, Leonie Pujol for having me on the teams. I'm also looking forward to working with Toni & the lovely ladies at stamps by me limited starting this month.
I count my blessings each day.
So my giveaway today will include something to alter from candy box crafts, an MDF heart, notebook to alter and more.

All you need to do is leave a comment about what your favourite thing was about Christnas & new year.
Enjoy the rest of your day. Lots of hugs Elaine xx

Christmas......

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed the festivities. This was my first Christmas where I have had some decent time off in 21 years and it's been fabulous. We had a lovely Christmas Eve. We went to the Crematorium during the day to take something for my little brother. Then we went home watched a Christmas film and had a nice meal. On Christmas Day I was up at 4.30 with excitement ( yes I'm like a little kid lol ). We had a lovely lunch out and just came home and chilled out the rest of the day. Boxing Day We had our usual party and I put on a Buffett. We played games and had a few drinks, and we had some of the guests stay over and I cooked the 6 of us a full English the next day. Today I've had my godchildren here all day and we have crafted, been out for food and played games. So it's been a lovely time spent with some wonderful people.
Anyway onto craft, I have tidied my craft room and I'm ready to get going with some projects. I hope my mojo is coming back. Today I'm sharing a card I made 2 weeks ago. It's made for Jones crafts and I used g45 cafe Parisian. It's intended to be a simple afternoon tea invite, with details printed inside.

Hope you like it. I would like to say thank you to all the people who have visited me and left comments this year. It is so heart warming to know someone takes valuable time to leave kind words.
On that note take care xxxx

Almost Christmas....

Hello to all my lovely followers. Sorry the posts have been somewhat erratic and slow. It's been a real difficult few weeks for me and I feel I'm only just sorting myself out. Sadly on 9th of December (also my 41st birthday) we said goodbye to the most amazing brave lady. My lovely friend Rachel. So my heart has not really been into crafting but I did spend a bit of time in my craft room the other day. Here's what I did...

I wrapped up hubbys aftershave with some graphic 45 papers and covered an MDF tag. The collection used was St Nicholas. Thank you to Darren Saxton at Jones crafts for sending me these wonderful Papers.
Well must dash having a new colour put in my hair and a cut at the hairdressers today. I fancied a change lol.
Take care friends and big hugs.
Love Elaine xxxx

Hello lovely peeps. Wow December the first, it's almost Christmas woohoo ! However I do have my birthday before then.....
Right onto today's DT make for Eclectic Ellapu.

I have desperately trying to use up old kits to create some space. The theme was bells and I attached one to the little red bow. Please take a peek over at what the wonderful team have created.
We have very generously been given time off until the next challenge starts on Feb the 1st next year. Thanks for stopping by.
Hope everyone is well, take care for now xxxxx

Love & Sadness

Today's post is a mixture of happiness and sadness.
This weekend saw myself and hubby attending a very special couples wedding. Now my lack of crafting recently was due to this wedding as I made all the stationary, and on the day the room looked beautiful.
My first ever table plan.....
Favour bags & namecards

The beautiful Mr & Mrs Sutton-Jones
Me & the Groom
Special friends
It was a beautiful weekend and we stayed overnight and all had breakfast together. I wish them both a lifetime of happiness.
The week was also very sad,
On Thursday a very special lady who I was glad to call my friend lost her 4 year battle with cancer. I had known Rachel for 21 years and she was an inspiration. Tomorrow would have been her first wedding anniversary and I would like to share a picture of that happy day which I was so glad I got to be a part of.

Sending love and wishes to all her family.
The wedding yesterday had lanterns on the lake in memory of the groom's father so I dedicated mine to Rachel.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy.
Thank you for reading my post today xxx

I'm a bad blogger !

Evening fellow crafters. Firstly I must apologise for the lack of posts and visits to your blogs. It's been manic here for me. Front & rear gardens have been done which caused carnage. I finally managed to finish 100 name cards , 88 favour boxes and a table plan. Tie that in with college, school and work it's been a nightmare with no real time to do any craft. I have a huge day at school tomorrow aswell my college tutor is coming into school to observe me and see how much criteria I have met. To say I'm nervous is an understatement !!!
After this week has gone all normal service will resume. Thank goodness lol.
So what am I sharing with you lovely folk today then.....
A little festive trio for the dinner table using Graphic 45's lovely St Nicholas collection. Made this a couple of weeks ago for my DT piece for Jones crafts.

Love this collection so very festive, and anyone who knows me knows how much I love the festive season !!!
Hope you are all well and enjoyed your weekend. I'm off to try and get some sleep ready for tomorrow, wish me luck I might need it.
Take care friends.
