Leonie and her new launch

Good evening, wow it's been a struggle for me this week, have been studying for maths Exam which was Wednesday and I'm not holding out much hope of passing. My first exam for 24 years and it was not easy !!
Anyway today I thought I would share some step by step photos of a wall hanger that I made with Leonies fabulous new mixed media launch......

Step one cut the mount board and then die cut the mosaic peices out and glue together. Then cover in white Gesso.

Step 2   I painted the area I wanted in blue.

Step 3  I then rubbed Pebeo gilding wax over the mosaics and stamped a sentiment from the mixed media stamps.

Step 4. Finally I die cut the mixed media hearts and added those

I have to say I really enjoyed making this it got me doing lots of different things. The new dies and stamps are just fabulous, well worth investing in them.
Hope you enjoyed looking I thinks that's my first ever very basic step by step I've done on my blog. I know there's lots of room for improvement lol....
Have a wonderful weekend everyone, I'm so excited I'm going to a workshop with Mark Gould at the fabulous crafty bunch shop. The wonderful sue has organised it. Will share photos next week.
Take care, thanks for stopping by xxx

Safari adventures....

Good morning. Wow it's only 8am and it's baking hot here in the UK for the second consecutive day.....the bedding is washed and out to dry on the line, I love it.
Anyway this weeks DT make for the very generous Jones crafts is a deep frame from candy box crafts that I put together and painted brown.
I then unleashed the fantastic safari adventure papers and chipboard from G45. Lots of fussy cutting, gluing and a bit of stencilling created this......

I'm so pleased with how it turned out , my pictures aren't great sorry about that.
Let me know what you think.
Right off I dash I'm finishing wedding invites and also off out with 3 lovely friends for lunch and drinks as one of them is celebrating their 30th..... She's the baby of the group lol !! I might share a pic next time. Have a great day, thanks so much for visiting I really appreciate it.
With love

Alice

Good evening and a warm welcome to my little blog. How is everyone ? Well the rain has continued today so having spent the morning sharing the housework with hubby I then had an afternoon crafting. I have been busy beavering away with the next Launch of Leonie pujols fantastic range. I can't wait for you to see the new collection it's fantastic, but you will have to wait until the shows on 22nd July......
I did also make this card today, as some of you will know I have been taking part in the daily marker challenge by the ever so talented Kathy Racoosin. I coloured this beautiful saturated canary stamp over the last 2 days with promarkers..........

Then used some bits and bobs to make it into a 8x8 card. I must say I'm really pleased with this. The colouring has improved a little. Right I must go it's almost time for Tuesday craft club.
Thanks for looking and have a lovely evening.
Hugs Elaine xxxx

30 days of colouring

Hello peeps a quick post from me tonight I have decided to join in the 30 day colouring challenge. This is brought to us by the ever so talented Kathy Racoosin, who I follow on Instagram.
I've seen it before but never joined in so thought I would try to improve my colouring by joining in.
So here's my day 1

Geniunely not going to win any awards for this......

Here's my selection of stamps for the next few days...

This is Kathy

So I'm hoping by day 30 my colouring will resemble something at least half as good as Kathys !! Well a girl can dream right. Why not join in with me and the lovely Jen Fisher who's also playing along with me.
Thanks for looking xx

Blogger mishap !!

Hello there, well I must say that I thought I had scheduled this post for the 1st of July and it did not happen. So apologies to my Eclectic Ellapu team mates ( I've never scheduled a post before and prob won't ever again lol ).
Here is this months make, I used alcohol ink background and some of Leonies Pujols fabulous stamps. Hope you like it.

I'm currently snowed under a pile of college work that I want to hand in before I finish for the summer, I don't want it lingering around lol. When I started the course at the end of February I had no idea I would have so much homework..... But still it is the new path that I chose and hopefully it will all work out when I finish in February next year. Hope you are all having a fabulous weekend.
Take care friends & thanks so much for stopping by, I really do appreciate it xx
